Barnaby’s dad works on tour with some well known music bands. When he told his dad about the big battery hunt campaign and how important it is to recycle batteries, his dad spoke to the band members, who all decided to get on board and help Barnaby out.
Used batteries from microphones and other musical equipment are boxed up and given to Barnaby, adding to Lightmoor’s count.
Barnaby is very keen to add to the battery recycling point in school and dad has said that he constantly reminds him, whilst he’s touring, to not forget the batteries. This has led to Barnaby adding almost 2,000 batteries to Lightmoor’s total and as you can see he is so proud of his achievement.
